Northstar Drilling Help Wanted - Driller's Wanted!
Northstar Drilling is on the lookout for drillers for our operations. This position requires a high degree of self-starting ability, a keen awareness of safety in the workplace - and an overall physical health that will enable candidates to work the rigorous job of drilling with one of Canada's most progressive teams.
At North Star, we value our health and safety program. To that end, we insist that all workers are drug and alcohol free during their work periods which can sometimes be up to 30 days of extended work.
As a result, all North Star Drilling properties are considered off limits to drugs and alcohol usage.
With respect to the working conditions, we often experience high levels of cold weather for extended periods of time - therefore, our ideal candidates will have the capacity to maintain adequate levels of protection in the form of clothing and cold-weather knowledge to perform their job for our client - winter and summer. This has proven to be very challenging to others in the business - however our guys seem to weather much better than others.
Our drillers operate with a high degree of professionalism, are very experienced - and manage their teams with effectiveness.
